Notice how the before looks like it was taken in the 70’s. It’s funny but the new stuff really does give the room a whiter feel. I didn’t do much but I did sew the shower curtain, which was very easy. It is just 2 panels and some buttonholes. The rug and towels are from Target and the print on the windowsill is <a href="http://cateanevski.com/html/galleries/illustration/2007/family-tree1.html">this</a> Cate Anevski. I really love her work and I just bought 3 of her prints. Her words are so profound in comparison to most her age. In short, she said that to be successful in one’s aspirations, one must rid themselves of negativity, chaos, and clutter and move forward at full speed. I have butchered her words which were much more eloquent but this is what I took from it.<br />After 24 years, I have discovered that what I was lacking was a clear focus and drive. So now I have decided to put my energy into creating garments. The ability to create and bring joy to others with custom pieces fulfills many of my own personal desires.<br />So with that said, I am starting the crazy journey into the world of sewing.
